My name is Amber. I am an elementary teacher with a passion for literacy. I have taught 2nd grade for the last 3 years. This year, I am switching grade levels and moving to 3rd. I am so excited for this new journey!
I recently moved to North Dakota after living in South Dakota for the last 4 years. I am originally am from South Dakota, moved to North Dakota to go to College and now I'm back and couldn't be more excited! Here are a few things about me:
1. I love spending time with my family. Along with my family, I love spending time with my boyfriend and Chocolate Lab pup, Lucy.
2. As you can tell in the family photo, we are huge hockey fans. Go Sioux!
3. I love early mornings, especially on the patio with a cup of coffee.
4. I have a weakness for children's literature and a major sweet tooth.
5. I love to bake.
6. I enjoy staying active and traveling to new places.
I hope this blog finds you wanting to teach, learn, and grow along with me. I am so inspired by all of the teachers out there and can't wait to share ideas together.
